Pass for Employment (EP)

EntrePass, the Entrepreneur Pass,
Owners of recently incorporated businesses that want to move to Singapore are given a pass. Valid for one year, but renewable for as long as the business is successful. The right to file for permanent residence status is available to holders.
S Pass
a pass given to mid-skilled workers earning at least S$2,000 per month in fixed compensation. Depending on the authorities, it may be valid for one to two years. Thereafter, it may be renewed so long as the candidate keeps a job with the company. Holders are eligible to seek for permanent residency.
(PEP) Personalized Employment Pass
a permit that allows professionals to find employment in Singapore. Valid for three years, however it cannot be renewed. Holders are not permitted to start a business and may change occupations, but only after waiting six months. Holders are eligible to seek for permanent residency.
Pass for Unrelated Work (MWP)
a permit given to foreigners engaged in temporary employment in Singapore, such as seminars, conferences, and workshops. It was also given to religious leaders, international media, and reporters traveling with crews that were not supported by the Singaporean government. Holders are unable to seek for permanent residency.
admission for academic purposes
A student who wants to go to Singapore for higher study must receive permission to enroll in a school there.
The pupil must:
have comparable grades, the ability, and the willingness to find employment in Singapore after they have finished their education.
own a Singapore Student Pass in their hands.
provide supporting paperwork for his or her request of a student pass in Singapore.
Send in photos, academic transcripts, and evidence of financial assistance.
entry into a home.
Passholders (apart from MWP holders) are automatically considered candidates for permanent status when they apply for an entrance permit.
Those that are eligible to apply include:
spouse and minor children who are not married of a Singaporean national
elderly parents of a Singaporean
