Let’s now look at how you may install Microsoft Windows 7 on the machine you have, or how to reinstall Windows 7, if necessary.
Before starting the reinstallation, make sure you have a complete backup of your data.
The basic answer is that when we install Windows, it will remove all of the data from the machine and install a new copy.
The Windows disk you have should be inserted first into the machine.
Restart your computer now, then press F12 to get the boot menu. Select a CD/DVD, CD ROM, or DVD ROM as your boot media, and then press Enter repeatedly until you arrive at an option that indicates Windows is loading data.
If at all possible, use the F2 key when the computer comes on if you are unable to access the boot menu.
The system will then restart and try to boot from the disk after directing you to the bios, where you may set the boot order priority to CD/DVD ROM.
You will get a window saying that Linux is loading files after the computer has begun booting from the drive as I previously explained.
Wait for Windows to fully load all of the files.
Once all of the files have loaded, a window will appear asking you to specify the language that is the one in which you please would like to set up Windows as examples.
You will see another option below that that reads, “Choose the keyboard layout”; click next after making your selection.
You should now get a notification telling you to click on install right away. Then select install.
You will now see a new page that requests that you accept the licensing terms and conditions.
Please click next after agreeing to the licensing terms and conditions.
Once clicked, the next button will take you please to a page with the choices expand or custom advanced.
Press the custom advanced button.
You ought to now see a list of the partitions that are accessible on your computer.
Choose the partition on which you wish to install Windows, then format it by clicking format after selecting disk settings.
A warning box explaining that all of your data will be deleted will appear as you click on format.
Select “OK.”
Note that everything on the computer will be deleted when you click the format button.
You’ll return to the exact same screen with the partitions after the format is finished.
Now that the partition has been formatted, select it and then click the next button.
The installation will start under Windows.
You will be prompted to choose options like time zone, machine name, and user accounts while the setup process is taking place. Decide on them now. You will return to your workstation top after installation is finished.
The PC now has Windows installed.
